Team Foundation Server integration

I do a lot of work where I build web service clients in VS 2010 so I can run service unit tests using F5 debugging. I end up copy and pasting client files into a shared folder that is visible from my Mac but I would rather just do a check out from TFS.

We are in the same boat since we have been using TFS for years to develop mobile projects with Xamarin. We are currently using TFS Everywhere plug-in to Eclipse but this is not very convenient. What we would like is the same TFS integration as we have in Visual Studio.
That said, like other shops, will eventually upgrade to TFS 2013 with Git support and new projects will be using Git and therefore Xamarin might not find it cost effective to invest in the TFS protocol support for the future.
