The "cloud" is becoming more and more prevalent therefore it's important our apps have a good communication system for cloud integrations. In-app purchasing with auto-renewable subscriptions is one case where a cloud back-end is required (Apple), or synchronization systems, backup, export, etc. ASMX web services are pretty much obsolete, we need good examples on the use of WCF in MonoTouch, etc.

Some newbie guides about how to create some ipad/iphone apps and authenticate against another openid/oauth provider. Then create this new user on a website. Of course, we don't care about the website code .. just passing the details to a secure end point.

Very hard to watch one of this in real time.

There aren't any good examples on how to use the iPad SplitView. An example on how to create a similar app to the email client would be an enormous help.
