What features would you like accessible from a cross-platform API?

← Xamarin Mobile API

File/Directory browser API.

Would be great if we can also have files ystem API.
Many applications needs to browse the mobile directory/file system to perform operations, like viewing files/selecting/previiewing and then performing subsequent operations.

        I see no real benefit of this. Since iOS has no support for external storage and Windows Phone 7 only supports very restricted access to it, it would only be useful for Android development.
